Pekin Duck Club!

@Miss Lydia lol sorry I'm reporting what's happening to you. But yesterday morning there was only one spot of black liquid poo, when I got home from work last night everything was normal, and this morning almost nothing bc they slept all night, surprisingly and what poo there was, completely normal. And I've only been giving them acv bc tsc was out of probiotics. I'm starting to think its black sometimes from them eating dirt and pure liquid from whatever else they are eating outside lol and just smelly bc well poo stinks lol
That is a great update duckies, and I think ACV works as a probiotic too. Yes they eat dirt etc so of course it's going to come out looking like what ever goes in. and smell well you hit it on the head poo stinks

Happy for you!! and congrats on new addition on the way!!

I would like to join the Pekin Club. My ducks are almost a month old and they are a blast to watch. Hope you like the pictures.

Welcome to BYC

great looking set up you have there and cute duckies too.

Tips on treating bumble foot without bringing the duck inside? He's had it before but it was just starting up when I saw it. I brought him in last time but he was much smaller and more cooperative then!

With early bumblefoot I have been successful smearing the foot with triple antibiotic (no painkiller) on the foot three times a day, especially just before their bedtime. Takes about 5 or 6 weeks to completely resolve, but it works.
