Pekin Duck Club!

@CindyD I am not a hatcher but I think what kyexotics shared is what I have gathered from what I have read on the forum.

I have also read somewhere, if I recall correctly, that depending on how long the temperature is too high or low during incubation, and at what stage, there can be developmental problems. But I think if you are monitoring and doing your best to adjust, then you can rest knowing you are doing what you can.

The natural incubation process has its ups and downs, as kyexotics wrote. So there is some margin built into the process itself.

Here is a vid of our current babies!

Cute ducks. The crested ones are adorable.

Thank you, that's our Peggy-O!(she's coupled with William-O and Loose Lucy!) Deadheads will get the names!

So I'debating getting duck diapers for the kids in the winter but, my DH isn't in agreement with me. Is it OK to let them outside in the winter, I have their "bedroom" in the basement but after their breakfast they go outside running around the yard all day, they have never tried to leave the yard, I dont have to babysit them. But I want them to have room to wander in the winter, not stay in their pen 24/7 so I've heard they go out in the snow yet I've also been told about their little legs getting frost bite. @miss Lydia I always listen to you lol any advice? Sorry to bug you
