Pekin Duck Club!

I can't remember if I've posted to this thread before, but I am a Pekin lover! This is my first year with 3 girls (I also have 4 barred rock hens) . THey are about 2 months old now. They are doing well. I wish they weren't so skittish of me despite how much time I spent with them in these early weeks. Their names are Tulip, Daffodil and Paisley.

Here is their brand new duck run which my husband put tons of energy into:

I think she knows she's making you guys smile with her cuteness! I need to figure out how to post videos at some point. I have one of her on Facebook doing a little dance in the mud. She likes the way it feels so she plays patty cake with her feet by slapping them really fast! I can't get over it!

Weeeeeee, I want her. Look at their orangeness contrasted with the green. And it isn't helping that she is cute and if she doesn't knock it off I am gonna kiss her. I love it. Thank you!!

LOL...I was thinking of you last night. When my silly Pekins were making their rain clouds in the pool, the Rouens would run off. I could hear their little webs slapping the ground. I couldn't help but literally laugh out loud and then that startled them so they ran some more.

That is such a cute story Debs. I love it. Silly Pekins scaring off the Rouens and then the sound of their little webs slapping the ground. I wanna kiss those two. Are they quite a bit smaller than the Pekins?
