I will film that and post. And I did just check online about mealworms for finches. Miss Lydia was right when she suggested I feed them mealworms because they don't get adequate protein. I will go for the dried ones and as you suggested, give them just a couple to start with. I hope they like them. They seem to be popular with birds. And it never dawned on me to provide them for my sweeties.I'd love to see it if you can get a video of them trying mealworms. I agree that they're very expensive from a per pound perspective, but a pound is a lot because they weigh so little. You might want to check into how that would affect birds as tiny as finches, or maybe only give them 3-4 each first to see how they react. They're very high in protein and fairly high in fat. Like some of the others here, if we gave our ducks all the mealworms they wanted, they'd never stop eating them.
Oh, geez, that is so funny. Yack.Right. My demon little sister tried to eat an aquarium fish once.
I have no idea. Try and get ahold of Scovy Momma via PM and ask her. Her young duck's belly is very bare for some reason. I hope you get some answers and he is ok. The duckling is cute, otherwise.does anyone know if this is normal?![]()
I love this picture. Cute Jack and cute Henry. That big duck is putty in his hands. Just relaxes and dangles his webs like nothing matters.
