I had 3 beautiful pekin ducks that I bought from an overrun zoo when they were 3 months old. I lost one at the beginning of winter to a fox sadly. But on Monday my 2 beautiful little ladies are turning 1 year old! They grow up so fast and we have made so many good memories together. Although I still can't touch them they let me lead them places and they stick close by when we are out exploring the world together (right now we are playing in a swamp behind my house which is where you will find us until it dries up!!) I am getting 2 more ducklings on May 13th (1 pekin and 1 Rouen). I don't know what I'd do without them! They're just so cute and livable!!

We had no idea what kind they were until they started feathering out. I know they may not be the fanciest but they have such neat personalities and they make me laugh every day! Now I have taken my mild obsession with them to the next level and just completed my first hatch from eggs from my pair. Meet Ruger and Winchester, and their ducklings just hatched yesterday, Booger, Armstrong and Curtis!

Eeeeeeeeee, they are so cute, parents and kiddies. Love all their names, too.

Awwww they are cute.. mine haven't had a chance yet to go out and explore outside .. but they like walking around in our basement.. My father in law doesnt want them to go outside til they get all there feathers in cause he thinks the bugs will get to them..
