Just wanted to pass on a tip that's working well for keeping our duck pen dry. I purchased a plastic water heater tray and place the food and water in it. They are outside all day but in the evening are secure in the coop. The plastic/ rubber tray is big and the edges yield when they step on it so no injuries. It's made clean up MUCH easier. No more soggy icky bedding!

I have six pekins i think i have 5 girls and one boy they are 12 weeks old now this is an older pic. Im new....love that there is a place to talk about ducks!

Wait... Not supposed to have liquid droppings?

mine have since they were introduced to a pool. Figured it was from the large dosages of water!

i mean duck's droppings cab be runny, but my duck is making a big mess of black liquid that smells wretchid!
