He is doing better all! He walks, not as fast as the others but he makes it around !!!

Yes I did get it !! He still has one leg that crosses over to the other side pretty severe.... you can see in the picture a little. Would I be able to bandage his legs in a way to try to avoid that ??

I am sadden to report we have decided it would be for the best to put our duck to sleep. He was okay but now his legs are like an X can't walk almost at all and had a hard time swimming and always getting one leg stuck behind him. Plus he can't even keep his balance. I feel he doesn't have a quality life and I cannot watch him suffer daily any longer, he one hip is along still poked out quite a bit and I dont see that being comfortable. I want to tank everyone for their suggestions. I will have y wait until Monday to take him to the vet. I'm very very heartbroken and emotional about it

Ok, so you all might think I'm crazy, but we did not put him to sleep, they have been in totes in my mud room since I've had them and I feel that was his set back... now that we have him outside he's standing again and making his way around the yard somewhat and is not near the shape he was in before ! I just love this duck so much I want to really give him a chance and not give up because he has not! He has never just laid tbere and gave up ! He's got so much heart and determination! He has sticky eye tho .... how do they get this ? I read that you put apple cider vinegar in water 1 tbs per 1 gal ... and to rinse eye 2 times daily with salene solution. I appreciate all of you on this thread reading my story and helping ❤
