Pekin Rouen mix?

These are my Rouen pekin mixed ducklings that just hatched. I also have a pair of white call ducks in with them but I have never seen them breed.
I believe 1/2 of them have a Rouen mom and a pekin dad, while the other 1/2 have a pekin mom and a Rouen dad.
Hi. I had a duckling Rouen mom and Pékin dad. When grew up he looks exactly like Rouen drake. But I think he is sterile, because none of the eggs from my hens now develop or hatch. I had to rehome my Pékin drakes because they were too rough on my females. He is the only drake now and no ducklings

That mix isn't known correctly sterility. Maybe your drake is still to young? How old is he??

That mix isn't known correctly sterility. Maybe your drake is still to young? How old is he??

Maybe that’s the reason - he hatched mid December last year. So he is 8 month old now. He is mating his two hens since approximately April-May. The enclosed picture was taken in the spring.

That could be it then. Some males aren't fertile until their a little older.

This is an old thread but I wanted to share my Rouen Pekin mix ducklings. They are about 4 weeks old. Most of mine are black and white, one of them looks kind of like a black Swedish. 2 of them have Rouen coloring mixed with white.

My hen is a Pekin and the drake is a Rouen. I have some more hatching today, so far most of them are black and white too.
