Pekin with bumble foot

Some say drawing salve works on just starting bumbles. So far the
@BelovedBirds What size should work for Angelina?
And has anyone used these before?https://www.walmart.com/ip/Visland-...Goose-Open-Toe-Shoes-Neoprene-L-M-S/771992935

I still have yet to start soaking Angelina's feet and I am really wanting to start now that I've found the boots in the link above, if they are actually good though.
And I think I will get a pen setup for Angelina and Duck to be in while treating their bumblefoot. I'll feel bad for having them in a fenced in area during the day but if that's what is needed to be done then that's what'll be done (if I need to put them in a fenced area that's clean and dry).
I bought waterfowl and chicken shoes from crazy K farm out of Texas but those look good. I used them on my Runner duck when she had bumble. I've only had one duck with bumble but I have had some of my chickens with it. Mainly my LF.
Only thing that has worked here is opening it up getting the infection out and treating afterward. I do soak in warm Epsom salt water till the scab is easy to peel off.

what do you specifically use to put on the wound after its emptied? Would drawing salve work?
I'm considering continuing Spright's treatment for another week now that I'll have proper shoes, then if I dont have any progress, perhaps opening it? Its not much bigger than it was before, but isnt going away and seems to cause her some pain. Having it linger for so long makes me nervous and more determined to get it gone. So I feel like I'll need something better than drawing salve soon.
(Sorry Angelinathepekin, not trying to take over your thread!)

It's funny because I just found some bumble shoes to buy too! They're coming today or tomorrow so that'll be interesting. My girl's small bumbles havent gone away after makeshift treatment (bandages and homemade wraps that fall off after a few hours).

I would guess the large size is best for Angelina, but you'll want to measure her foot and check to be sure.
I ordered the large for my Sprightly, I measured her feet and was surprised that I needed the biggest size, I still think they'll look a little big on her, but better a tad too large than much too small!
What did you use to measure their feet with?
I have to measure Ducks feet to as I want to treat her with Angelina. I might treat one of the others at the same time with Dick and Angelina, but im not sure yet, I think I'll try just doing Angelina and Duck first and then if I'm able to, I'll see if I can start treating one of the others at the same time as them.

I've tried to wrap Angelina's feet once.. and it did not go well, the wraps came off almost as soon as they got on, I also didn't do a very good job of wrapping them though. That was around the time she first got bumblefoot.
(When I wrapped her feet that time I did not have bandages specifically for her. I also put green goo on her foot as an ointment/drawing salve or whatever it'd be considered)
I will get some new photos of Angelina and Ducks feet too, hopefully today if not today then maybe tomorrow.

With the way Angelina's bumble foot is I think I might have to do that hopefully I won't have to though.
A few of my chickens have bumble too, which I want to treat at some point soon.

I just used a tape measure to check length and width, lol, there are better ways to measure their feet but I was in a rush since they were about to go out of stock again- it was easy enough to rule out medium ones, my ducks have quite big feet it seems!
Photos always help! Hopefully we can both get our ducks feet back in good shape!

Best to take care of them before they get into joints and blood stream.

I used tripe antibiotic after I got out the bumble.

Thank you, I hope your ducks feet can get back into great shape soon!
I will use a tape measure then and will measure all of my ducks feet just so I know what their measurements are.
And I will try to make sure I get photos of Angelina and Ducks feet today.
I cant seem to find out if murdochs has duck shoes. When I type in neoprene duck shoes or boots and other variations of that, it only comes up with muck boots, rain boots and the like.

@DuneDucks would you know if murdochs sells boots for ducks?

This is what I use for myself would this work for treating bumble foot?
(Oops, the picture is upside down)
