Just hatched these pekin blue swedish babies. Mother is swedish, drake is pekinDoing our first time incubating eggs and we have 3 signs of life.. The mother is a Pekin and the Father is a Blue Swedish. I am curious to see peoples photos of their feathered Pekin X Swedish cross breeds.. If you have them please show. Looking forward to see if i can hatch these 3 eggs out and see how they will grow.

From what I've read and learned, a lot would depend on what genes the mom pekin carries. You really won't know until you incubate and see what hatches, I believe. Since white (pekin) essentially covers up any indication of other genes she carries. I could be wrong though, as I'm still learning. I have some pretty swedish mixes from my last hatch but not sure what they are mixed with.Does anyone else have any other pekin x blue Swedish pictures? Or updated photos? My ladies just started laying and I’m debating breaking out the incubator in a few days. Mom would be pekin and Dad blue Swedish.
I’ve been trying to read some old posts about genetics but honestly it just goes over my headFrom what I've read and learned, a lot would depend on what genes the mom pekin carries.
