Just discovered my fellow PA'ers.
My backyard flock consists of 4 buff brahma's and 3 blue splash marans (all hens which just turned 1 yr old). However, I hope to be increasing the flockette with my very first incubated brood. 14 mail ordered blue splash marans eggs...6 piped this morning and as I sit here I hear their first little peeps. How egg-citing!!! e

Brittany, Sally has silkie chicks! And she's only over just east of Lebanon, right off 78!

no way do you know how much she is asking for them? and if she has any right now?

Ok, so what is it about the silkies and polish you like? The poof? The flashiness? The temperament? That might help you narrow it down? My silkies are pretty good layers, as long as I can keep them from being broody.... I get about an egg a day per bird and their eggs are a little larger than a typical bantam egg.

I just really like how funny looking they are and that they dont look like the typical chicken.

FYI: I hatched eggs from Duramaxgirl that were shipped clear across the country and 12 out of 15 hatched. Great packing!

It's sad how true that is!! Other people will say: Gawd, that stinks, I walk by and take a deep breath!

maybe we just haven't hit that stage yet where it stinks to us

if it was just me, i think i would start smoking again but my husband doesn't want me to so i won't, so what if it kills us, no one gets out of this world alive

I believe she is asking $3 each for them, and yes she has some right now that she's selling. PM her....since she seems to be ignoring us today (which really just means she's busy with littles)

Can u share the list please? I have some polish and light brahmas on reserve with them. Didn't get a list though. Thanks!!! That's where most of mine came from. I am happy with mine.

April 17 ~ Silkie Bantams straight run, Rhode Island Red Pullets, Easter Egger pullets, Light Brahma pullets, Cochin Standard size straight run

April 25 ~ Buff Orpington pullets, Buff Brahama pullets, Silver laced Wyandotte pullets, Gold laced Wyandotte pullets Speckled sussex pullets

May 8 ~ Ring neck pheasants, French Pearl Guineas, Bronze Turkeys

The mailman usually delivers between 10 and 11:30 am. Today it was close to 11:30 and there were several people waiting for him to get there.

How do i PM her and is her name just sally? Sorry i am still trying to find my way around here...
