Thanks, my friend. I don't have chickens right now. But I'm very attracted to a chicken lady. I'm a 46-year-old guy, hardworking and financially secure. I can help a chicken lady with her chicken (poultry) venture. I can even help her start a chicken farm if she likes. Of course I will share some of the chicken chores. By the way I'm from Allentown. And I don't mind driving.

Awwweee, I hope you find your dream chicken lady! Chicken people getting together is so darn cute!!

Unfortunately, I cannot help in this department, for I am...uh...little

Best of luck! Hope you find her!

@newbie1. i feel off my chair laughing. watch out for the mean old chicken math bug. i remember i started with 7 chicks for some eggs. now those 7 chickens turned into a full time job raising birds for meat and eggs for profit. i raise over 150 birds not including turkeys.

Whattayamean (****Italian temper)???? I......I.....you know what, I can't lie, it's all true and today is a Holy day..LOL!!! I got my husband a t-shirt that says "Pray for me, My wife is Italian". This doesn't have the mozzerella or ricotta, but if you would like to try some, I can wrap you up a piece. If you and your GF like my Nana's version, I am sure I can make an extra next year to share with you. Will PM you and tell you how to get here. Let me know when you are coming and I'll make sure we're here.
I absolutely love it! Chicken person and your gonna save me pie......wow!

. Now if I could sweet talk a random old lady to bake me fruit pies on a regular basis , you know just to see if she still has the knack of baking,,,,,I'd be in heaven!!!!
Thanks everyone!

I wish I could own chickens but twp came and said we needed to take them somewhere else lol. Maybe one day.
You just need a doctor's note lol
need a quick answer from all the medical folks on here,,,,got arthritis in the hip,,,,headed shortly for a hot shower ...what else helps,,,,need to sleep tonight and the hip kind of prevents that...
Everyone knows what I take for a long day of getting your azz kicked by a turkey and than de-boning them. OJ! Had some before I got to your house that day. Kinda numbed the azz kicking I got a bit.
Gin soaked golden raisens work for gout.Look it up.Works for me!
I like the way you think!
I take a cocktail, though whatever is wrong with my joints is still undiagnosed. 2 extra strength Tylenol (500mg each) and 3 regular ibuprofen (200mg each).
I have the same problem...I know what caused mine...medicinal OJ lol
I'm not. 'Real' doctor, but I play one in my kitchen. I think a shot of whiskey should do the trick. Or more practically, 2 Naproxen.
Just one shot!? Half a glass is what Dr. Patrick recommends.
So sorry it's been a rough day (((((((((((gardeningmama)))))))))))))))))))

tomorrow will be better and hugs will still be available!

PS.... do you need me to beat someone up for you????
Yes I do.....
You read my mind. I think I set those limits today! Unfortunately for my kids, I think that also means they will grow up not knowing A LOT of my family. A real shame, because they used to be wonderful people, or so I thought, until something got a hold of them? I swear in the world we live in today, you've got to be prepared for any sucker punch, from anywhere, and anyone. Live and Learn, I guess..
Sucker punch and sometimes a roundhouse kick.
Sending hugs and calm your way!!

(I typed "hugs and clams" first but figured that wouldn't help too much!!)

I hope April brings you much awesomeness!
I'm sure the clams would help. We could have a clam bake and make a day of it lol

If your already attracted to a chicken lady than no need for a chicken lady classified.

Hi Everyone! Its been a week since I've been on and there have been 1200 posts! Hope everyone had a great Easter. My hatches flopped so now I'm in search of some chicks for the girls to show at the fair in the fall? Does anyone have any available? What breeds and price? Thanks everyone.

I have some Olive Eggers and 2 MF Bantam Cochin project chicks left from Saturday's hatch. My zip is 19375, not sure if I'd be close enough for you. My kids like to use the bantam Cochins for showmanship as they are small and have a sweet personality.

Help! Day 22 hatching bobwhites (my first ever hatch) and noticed pips going into lockdown on day 20. I understand this its early for them usually a 23 - 24 day hatch time. So i upped the humidity from 55 to 65 and locked them down. 34 if 37 made it to lockdown. 7 pips later no more action. It has been over 24 hrs. I have to leave town. What should i advise my dh to do? I don't think he is up to helping them out of shells. should i not be worried since they have a few days yet before they should be out or is the concern triggered by the amount of time from pip? I am concerned they got shrink wrapped. I asked on a quail hatching page, but it its a very quiet thread. Thanks to anyone for info!
