My grandkids will try anything once. We took them all out in January and I of course ordered calamari. The 6 yo (who is my "chase me around the table and make me try it so I can say yumm" kiddo, tried it right away...even was ok with it once I told her what it was. The 8 & 10 yo's were all for it.

When we did the marriage reception, I had to order for them, as the 8 yo decided he wanted steak, and the 10 yo wanted crabcakes....they got a burger and a single crabcake respectively! LOL
That's how mine are. They would probably starve if they tried to be picky, becuase I raise them how I was raised. "I put it on the table.....eat it." LOL! and I know the mint chocolate will go over well. It's dark chocolate cupcake with mint icing, and crushed mint oreos on top. It seems EVERYBODY loves those!!!

Pretty neat! Depending on dates (my jobs and workshops come first before chickens lol) I'd enjoy going ^^ Not sure what I'd swap lol My Loverman makes awesome art/knives; he's a farrier/blacksmith/jeweler/swordsmith haha. I'll have to start getting crafty so I'll have something to swap ^^
Cool! I don't really make anything either. I have some plants that need to be rehomed.
That'd be awesome, depending on date!

COOL! don't know that I would have anything to swap except cash and not much of that but it would be fun to meet a lot of others on here plus see the couple I have already met!
Cash is always needed at a swap! : )
Oh this sounds fun! What should I cook?
ANYTHING!!! ...another 75 cupcakes???

I have to check the map, thats way closer to me than I thought.
If you click on my name, I will pop up on the map. Otherwise, I'm hiding under eweaber. Which is funny, because I'm B Weaver.

I was thinking a Saturday in late May or June once the weather gets ABOVE 45*.... Maybe we could somehow take a vote?

Yup, when I moved in, they learned quickly that I offer 2 things for a meal, take it or leave it.

BTW, made the pie, and minus it not setting up, DH (god, I love typing that) said it's perfect. It's exactly what he remembers. So it'll be going home with my step-daughter tomorrow. (he doesn't know that LOL)

Do you sell Calls, ducklings, eggs, or are you adult only?
Eggs & babies. No adults available at the moment & there are eggs in the bator.
My SO just gave the OK to host a swap here at our house if anybody is interested. We don't have a huge property for camping, but we have plenty of room to set up lots of tables, etc. (This is a good excuse for SO to clean out the barn!!) We do have ducks and geese and I must protect my flock as well as yours, so eggs and chicks only, no adult birds. We are about 5 mins from the Lebanon/Lancaster exit of the turnpike (I am on the map in my signature). Let me know if anybody would be interested.
Will have to look to see where you are but possibly interested.
She was on the Easter hatch earlier
Sally has been really busy with the Easter Hatch-a-long.
Glad she's with you...send her all our love!
I'm from Jersey...we know how to hide the bodies.
I'm fairly certain they only love the food, not you. At least that's the way my ducks act.
So glad I use the mill's fresh milled, not prepackaged!
Chocolate scovies??
That'd be awesome, depending on date!

I have a young tri-color chocolate pied hen growing out who should be laying by fall.

This is what comes to mind for me. so there's something wrong with both of us. Perfect! Thank you....I knew you could explain it better......by the way gonna need more info on those logs, like average price.....i need to know how much cash to bring, and whether it will be safe to bring hubby..
Yes! Thnx for the link, I tried googling 'Landis Valley Thingy'...not much luck.;)

I am selling out of Ameraucanas!

I have 13 adults blue/splash wheaten and wheaten birds, 2 pullets growing out (5mon & 6wks), 3 chicks in the brooder (Easter hatch) and a couple dozen in the incubator hatching out in the next 4 days to 2.5wks. I also have 20 wheaten chicks coming from Paul Smith. sometime soon.

I also have 10 2.5wk old BBS & L bantams I hatched form Little Ameraucana Mom's eggs.

Let me know if any of you are interested.

ETA: UGH, why do I not have any PA friends... or any BYC friends... like 80% of you do so I can vent?
