Hey Centre County folks -- where do you get your chicken feed? What do you pay?  Thanks :)  :D

Anyone here raise rabbits? I'm thinking about Angoras.

I go to Tractor Supply in state college for now. A 50lb bag of medicated chick starter (as I have babies) is almost $19.00. I am going to be looking into feed Mills before long. I do believe there is one in centre hall and mill hall. Hope that helps! :)

Yes, I have been going to Tractor Supply and Calico Creek (Mill Hall) so far for my babies. Same price at both for Purina. Calico Creek carries Southern States, now, too.

Centre Hall is $23 for 100# (so I'm told). I'm also going to check Albright Mill in Mill Hall. The Tyrone Mill posts their prices on their website.

Like MCC, I need to know when I can get my 7wk chicks outside...the smell is invading the rest of the house and they need more room than the dog crate/brooder provides...What is the minimum temp that they can handle?....they look fully feathered...

If my memory serves(?), I remember one of the "Chad"s found a really good price of feed....it was a week or two ago.....

My 3 and 6 wk olds were moved out into the coop over the weekend with 2 lamps. They have been fine and I figure if they got through the last 2 nights, then we should be home free! At 7 wks they might even be fine without a lamp as long as there are enough of them to snuggle up!
