Pelletized Lime is cheap. It changes the PH of the soil. Conditions are unfavorable for the grubs and the lawn will thank you. 40# bag of pelletized lime at Home depot around $4.00

Yup! Turkeys do lay less than chickens (and they seem to lay where ever they want to...I'm keeping mine locked up so I don't have to egg hunt) but their eggs are bigger and taste pretty much the same. Most of the time, they're adorably speckled like so~Wow panda is sooooo cute! And weird question but do you do anything with turkeys other then meat? Like do you eat their eggs?
You'd have an aweful long drive I think! I did this at our Erie camp this past weekend.... though guess it would be worth the trip if you like Bar-b-q and fishing!I'm coming to your camp! Wait for an easterly wind....I'll look for the smoke signals
Gavin, I took video. so wish I could post it on here!!! It's hilarious!I just woke Gavin laughing about this...one of my girls has taken to beating on any boy who tries to crow other than Jäger. Only the one girl but she's the second largest in the entire flock, she even beats on Jack, my favorite New Hampshire boy and the largest in the flock.
