Quote: why not, turkeys are great.
Quote: awesome,,,,even I would not eat this one (unless he got mean )
More my Dad's rule than mine, and I do rent the property from him. If we get turkeys they'll be for holidays, or maybe for spite...

X2 he really is handsome

Gotta wonder about Chad and all that kilt talk. Especially since the balut picture was really just an excuse for a close up of his thumbs. Ya know what they say about a guy's thumbs...

This is in the next town over from me. It's a residential area with strict codes. I'm curious which house he lived in because some of the houses on that road are huge and very expensive.

Out here in Pittsburgh, PA.
My Roo Mitchell and his girls down in the valley watching me as I leave.
They really are enjoying free ranging.
I will be separating the roos from the hens. They should start laying soon,
they are 17 weeks old now. I am looking forward to my first egg!

Morning all

What does everyone have planned for today? Hopefully I can get out into the garden and plant some flowers I picked up cheap at the local nursery yesterday before the next round of rain comes!

Have a good day!!

OK, finally caught up. Wheeeeewwwwww!!!

BIG THANK YOU to fisherlady!!! She drove 3 hours 1 way yesterday to bring her plucker equipment to help me process the last 9 meaties. Total time from set up to clean up (not counting me packaging after she left) was less than 4 1/2 hours & that was counting setting up & tearing down all equipment & unloading & reloading her car...in the rain. She didn't want any birds (darn) but took home feet & stripped carcasses to make stock with & I slipped her a big bowl of raspberry cobbler (for radioman) & a bunch of soaps for her, radioman & her mom.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! (Last time it took me over 12 hours to do 10 birds, & you figured out why with the amount of assistance offered by JJ...LOL)

Did the baby goat's arrive? If so did she share pics yet? Been so busy getting ready for vacation I have missed a ton of posts. Hope everyone made out ok in the storms. We had one large dead tree come down. Thankfully it was nowhere near any buildings. Just across the lane we use to get to our field. Hubby had it cleared in no time. Well I'll check back in a little while. Hope everyone has a great day :)
