Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

you're talking my language but i perfer mustard greens or turnip greens, we have mustard greens come up every year without us planting them, they also go good raw in a fresh home made biscuit , raw, the mustard greens have a nice little bite, took me years to find southern makings up here, my momma use to send me a care package with grits in it, northerners didn't know what grits were then. now i can get my grits in amish country

And turnips! The under appreciated root veggie! I use them to make slaw. And rutabagas Oh man cook em, mash em add butter and you have a healthy alternative to mashed taters

I am getting antsy waiting for these birds to lay!!!! 17 weeks old today.... I'm so impatient! Lol!
I was the same way. Actually had a talk with the girls and told them that it would behoove them to lay otherwise feed can be given to someone that'll appreciate it and lay eggs. That it is not a bed and breakfast establishment. Eggs need to be laid to pay for room and board.

you sure you weren't raised in the south? most people don't know what a rutabaga is until they are raised down there or at least lived there for awhile, course, wally world has opened eyes on southern veggies.
