I know someone who eats their tiny lil eggs. I heard the same about the bob whites. But chuckards are sweethearts, so I have been told. . . . .ohhh. . . and pheasants, as another game bird, heard how they are soooo cannibilistic as chicks and that makes them difficult to raise.

You know how i am trying to find good homes for my surplus pet roos that I coo over and play with everyday? Well, the one fellow of the construction crew thats building our new house said he wanted to get one of my roo. I was happy. Then he asked me which one was agressive and how about the big black one (my cochin roo, probably about 12 to 13lbs). I was like

. He wanted an agrssive roo to cock fight with. I told him none of my roos were agressive and I would not home them out to anyone to do that!!! They would be better on someones table than to live that life! Anyone ever have that happen?

I know everyone likes to make things as easy as possible, but I will stick to my system of carry jugs of water out to fill the waterers, it gives me the chance to walk around and take a good look at everything, if I had an automatic system I would miss alot of the little things that I spot while filling water.

Don't feel bad! I do the same thing! Problem is, my barn is on a HUGE slope of a hill! So, I traipse up it, using the water bucket as an anchor to haul myself up...then, when I'm done, I throw the water over the other side of the hill and slide down the hill I walked up on a sled! The whole house is on a hill...so I have to stop myself before I go down the rest of the mountain...but boy is it fun! :D
