Last run out to check on coops/pens/houses...... nasty!

Everyone doing good locked up tight, blue coching in the shed, happy and resting, big coop all is well, Chicks in basement all good, bator still going, still got juice! YAYA!

New Tink from Mama~ is pretty, sweet and made the most adorable nest in the dog kennel ASIDE of the nest box I gave her, glad I rigged 2" foam all around the kennel cept front, she is nice n warm. Poor thing has to be scared, but she seems extremely happy and came right to me for a few raisins!

Got a call from Chad, NOT GOOD! I feel so bad for him, stupid people that dont watch their DOGS!!!!

Now a tree just fell on road, ppl need to slow down!! another set of screaching tires!!!!!! Called it in, someone out there already with saw!!

Chad called again : ( OMG !

,...yeah...may have just found a new love. I did find quite afew on here just by flippin' around..they are awesome birds!..now i know why everyone ends-up with more than what originally planned..."chicken math", I think someone called it., I really got side- tracked looking at those things... *patrickchick..Very handsome bird there...*sharron-and thank you for the welcome, also to you bruceh... wind is starting to pick-up, hope you all are tied down...
 
blarneyeggs, i lost all but one roo thats looks like a buff, not showing the barring like his brothers and one hen, so i won the bid on rarebreeds for 10 more, she threw in an extra, and i think 8 out of the 11 turned out to be roos, both un barred and barred but thats ok , you know something always happens to the ones you like the best, my husband caught 4 coons, guess will have to learn how to cook them lol

Oh so glad!! I was hoping that you would like her. She is a nice girl and a WONDERFUL mama!!

yeah, chicken math, to think i started out this time with just 4 hens for my mil, she did alot of baking and wanted fresh eggs, anyway, now i have so many that my husband has made me 4 chicken tractors , and we still have a big chicken house, one side for the sussex and the other for a mixture of blue wheaten marans and lf brahmas, which in the spring i will separate them for pure eggs for hatching
