Very nice looking.

Curious polling question, what do you guys do with the eggs that hatch into roosters? Do you keep them all, ship them away, etc. I am concerned about ordering a bunch of eggs for hatching, because knowing my luck I will get all roosters.

If they are not something I can use, I either give them away or take them to the auction.

Okay, so I have a neighbor (1 neighbor) whose property is about the same size, if I let the turkey free range and do it's thing, will it go to his property? We have tall trees in between and brush, but now that it's winter it's thinning out. I know I"m not betting turkeys for a while since they are out of season, but I want to make sure the turkeys stay directly on my property. what's the best option for that?

I don't know if it would be possible to keep the turkey home - it would probably depend on how big your place is. Training it to stay inside movable netting, plus possibly trimming the tips of wing feathers on one side would be options.

We have a big wire corn crib that I kept my heritage birds in most successfully. They didn't get to wander around outside, but did have a big area with high roosts they could fly to.

Do you have a particular variety in mind?
