That little poult is so cute! It looks like it has chocolate sprinkles on its back. I'll be curious to see how it looks when it grows up also!
Lol. On the security camera it's going to look like a drug deal. "I swear officer, it was just some chicks in the box!"
Haha! This wouldn't be our first chicks in a box exchange there! They might get suspicious!
I can't wait to see how this poult grows out! Made I'll name her Sprinkles or Ice Cream. She really does look like she has sprinkles on her back lol
Okay should i put more blue coat on the new scratches. They aren't bad but she is bleeding a bit. She is very alert and talkative. Talking to me and her reflection in window. Almost purs when I pet her. I know EEs are normally friendly but I think someone was very hands on with her. She seemed fine all week temperament wise. Always up and busy when I checked on her. I didn't see any of my big girls pick on her. One of my spangled bantams was picking on one of the little hens but not much. I'll happily hang out with her in house for awhile! The only hens Ive had were the ones that came with house and they like me but not overly friendly. She did drink alot when she came in. I have some nutridench I could give her too.
Keep cleaning it up and putting blue kote on it. I think maybe putting a large hen saddle on hen might help protect it while she heals too.
