Did they get home and under their new mama ok?

Now I have a dozen SPR eggs in my bator. An army of future broodies if they hatch lol!
That's too cute! Yesterday, my broody turkey tried to kill a day old chick instead of adopting it. She ripped the down competely off the poor little guy the whole way around his neck. She will be going to the next swap with me. I will not tolerate a nasty bird. She's not even friendly when she's not broody

They are safely tucked in, will check late tonight and early in the morning but no one seemed upset. Brownie started talking to them right away and they seem content to stay under her. One did pop out to peek when we were out to check on them about 8 but dove right back under when it saw the light.

@NickiePA , welcome from Pittsburgh! :) Your ducks are adorable! I'm not familiar with the concept of a house duck, unless you mean a temporary arrangement until their feathers come in. I'm intrigued, though. I've really wanted ducks for years, but gave up hope when I heard how messy they are (even compared to chickens!).

My kids were home alone tonight while I was at work and thought Hegwid look sad in her cage so they let her stay out and about with them. They cleaned up any messes but my son fell asleep and I found her sleeing next to him. I'm pretty sure I'm mad because I have three dogs in the house but I seriously can't stop laughing.

Motorcycle chick....just wondering if you think these guys are white muscovy ducks or pekins. I have to say after reading all about muscovies i am hoping thats what they are.
