Tomorrow is supposed to be hatch day for my Meyers chicks. Time to prep the brooder! My toddler is very excited for baby chicks.

Tomorrow is supposed to be hatch day for my Meyers chicks. Time to prep the brooder! My toddler is very excited for baby chicks.

Duckling was okay seeing the chicks emerge until she did an assist. She was one (yes, I really let her do it), and when the chick kicked out of its shell in her hands, she was confused. Then entertained. Then came no seeing me crack open an egg for a month because all eggs had to go in the incubator. I just kept putting them in to appease her (incubator off) until I told her that no more chicks would be born.
