Sally, here's the long and short of the NYD hatch.

Lots of eggs set.
Lots of people confused.
If you want to guess the total set, you have to go to that thread by midnight tonight, even if you already did the google form guess.
Lots of people now want call ducks.
Icelandics are gorgeous and I think I'm in love.
People (including Blarney) STILL don't have their eggs from the swaps/orders.
You have to have your pic up of what you set by Friday.
Oh, and I still blame you and Blarney for me doing this.

OH! And I got my wellie eggs today!!
 
Yup...that's one of the reasons I love my wellies....well...that and the fact that the babies are just adorable...they were pecking at the 6 yo's shoes today....and they adore being picked up....wonder how long that'll last?
 
Bummer night,,,,, candled the shipped BCM eggs in incubator....only 3 of 12 are developing, the rest are clear,,,,eggtopsy confirms.

Seller willing to replace them next week, looks like I'll start over again, and they were nice dark eggs, Bev Davis lines. The waiting game continues, hoping the 3 that show development make it all the way.

Also 3 of my own LF blue cochin in there, they seem fine, will be my first blue's from my own hen.
