*Mama- So that would be an "affirmative" to the use of plastic "wrap"/ hay-bales...It looked like a good idea, especially in this type of weather..I really only have to worry about one side of the run, but was still thinking of leaving a space at the top and or bottom , not sure what I'm gonna end up with..

Purdy it is my plan to. We live down in a valley so the wind really kicks up here. And when it is cold, that wind makes it bone-chillingly cold!

Well checked on my ladies tonight, my Bf made me put Orencia back out in the coop after only 1 night. The bubbles have cleared up, one eye still droopy and a little watery, she is now mouth breathing and still a little smelly. She was also sitting closer to the feeder and not under the heat light I have on for them, her feathers look all messed up and she looks very thin. I have her back in the house with a higher dose of meds in oatmeal, but she hasn't touched it yet :( I hope she gets better!!!

No electric again,,,,

I hope she eats for you! You could try to give her some oatmeal via a syringe, worked for me with one of my sick chickens! Hope she gets better but so sorry to hear this. Is everyone else doing well??
