I got a bator for Christmas and want to "warm it up".
(My DH rocks, it took 7 years, but I finally got him trained!) If anybody has some eggs that they would like incubated, please let me know. I want to run a test batch before the geese start laying. I prefer ducks, but chickens or quail would work too. It's an R-Com 20, so it can hold about 20 chicken or duck eggs. I can also brood the little girls (
) if you would like.
The only stipulation is that you MUST take them back afterwards!!! I am not charging anything, I just can't keep them!

This year I got a pair of sulcata tortoises , an R-Com 20 Pro incubator, a bunch of plastic storage bins for my duck/goose feed/supplies, and a case of wine! WOOHOO! What more could a gal want?? Well, except a living room full of ducklings!
Wish we could get out to the Farm Show to meet up... but starting in the morning I work every other day for 7 days (24hr shifts)... so till next Friday I am out of commission for anything other than local stuff.
When does the Farm Show run till? We have come out there twice in the past 5 yrs or so to go to the Sports and Outdoors show in February for fishing stuff... usually use it as a weekend getaway and a trip to Cabelas and Bass Pro while we are there.
MotorcycleChick.... are you in Clearfield proper or outside of town somewhere? I am about 15 minutes SE of McGee's Mills, if you are familiar with there. It takes me about 40 minutes to get to Clfd WalMart give or take a few minutes.

Such Sweet sounds…. Gotta love it! We have TWO more Wellie pips!!!! Kinda hard not to count my chickens before they're hatched… Hope these two do ok.
Had to help out my last two Cochins. One of them has the bandaide leg going on. Crazy thing keeps falling on her back and crying…then the other chicks pick on her and we put her rightside up. Then it starts over.
