I'll have baby scovies eventually. Mine aren't laying yet. They are quiet, but they fly very well. I get a laugh out of them all the time, cause they face each other and bob their heads like they;re talking, but no noise comes out. Mine have decided that they live by the pond, and I haven't been able to close them up at night. I'm hoping that they'll decide to move back 'home' by the time they start laying, so I can find the eggs without a treasure hunt.

Can I clip their wings to prevent the flying? I don't think my neighbors would appreciate it....

Only ones not what? Not a good layer or not noisy?
one of the best laying and eating ducks so they say, i know they lay good but i could never bring myself to eat one, for me, they're the only ducks i would ever have again, once they know you're their person, they will come to you, hiss, they don't quack, and wag their tail , i just love the muscovys
