I at least dusted her and gave her a good look over! LMAO!

just got back from running some errands,,,one of those were to the liquor store.....they do not open till noon.....what the h**l are they trying to tell me I shouldn't drink before noon ???

you have plenty of time yet Baym!! you got this! LOL you crack me up!

I told you I do dry hatch methods and watch air cells.... I dont weigh... so dont you go and overthink either, you caught it and acted! same as I do every hatch!

Dry incubation means adding water as necessary, NOT DRY the entire time. So when I go under say 28-30% humidity I add water just to boost to 35-40%. while doing this during the hatch I pencil mark air cells and keep a close eye on loss. Shipped eggs with saddle shaped air cells and having already lost alot of weight from sitting and shipping they are typically going to loos a tad more than the rest. I have never had a problem, if anything TOO much humidity seems to be worse than not enough! I can help a stuck chick, but a mushy wet chick that drowns in its own fluids is as good as DEAD! so I do dry incu and then up to 65-70 lockdown, again it depends on what I am seeing!

I probably shouldn't have ignored the following text message to my cell phone:

"From: Roasting Chick Baby
If you want to see cute little peeps, increase the danggone humidity, it is like Arizona hot in here!"

Always buy 50% more alcohol then you need, that extra 50% comes in handy before noon the next day.

Same her but just tsc. Never a shortage of alcohol since I make wine and beer, but my wine supply is low (< case). Someone I'm going to come meet you. Not sure I didn't last year at tsc, actually.
They are all set for chicks, none there yet. 24 due to hatch in the next week or so, so I can restrain myself (if I keep saying that, it might happen.
Will your hubby still have straw in the next month? I want to get some for garden mulch, maybe 10 or twelve bales. Might want some a bag of barley, too, if you still have some.
