Hi all. I'm in the far NEPA. :)

Welcome! Look at the link to the map in my signature and see if you're as far up as Barbie

Wingstone and anyone else interested,

Did you remember that the Landis Valley Herb Faire is this coming weekend? http://www.landisvalleymuseum.org/cgi-bin/eventsdetail.cgi?Year=2013&Month=05&Day=10

I'll be a vendor, with soaps, balms & mushroom logs. I am Brushwood Farm.

Will see if I can sneak over on Saturday while DH is at his HAM class.

So how many of you house ducks and geese with chickens? Any good suggestions on keeping everything dry? I'm thinking that a possible lack of good ventilation is keeping is moist in there. I turn the straw every other day and it is damp. The chickens do stay on the opposite side right now by choice and it is dry there. Ducks are such a mess!!
Mine are together while growing out, but yes, you have to watch how wet everything gets. Most of my brooders are wire bottomed so my chickies stay dry even when they duckies start playing.

Quote: What color Anconas are left & where did you get eggs from Sally. I'm looking for different colors & another bloodline to add to mine.
