Today I have a case of the incubation blues....10 of 14 eggs are on day 21, and not a pip or peep....the last four are due tomorrow...tic toc, tic toc....

I am going to try that this year.... the grazing frames. Every year I till the ground and seed it and I move the chickens to another part of the run and within a couple weeks it is dirt again. I am hoping that grazing frames will help out, going to do several to cover a 400sq ft area.Thanks to everyone for the help and advice yesterday,,,,,and I know legal advice is only worth the words on the screen, but others can give a different perspective that you never considered.....
as for grass, I grow grass in the main run, even with over a hundred birds,,,,,It grows under grates that the birds can only get to what sticks up, we lift these grates every year and have a look, if needed we retill the area and plant grass seed...
