Check Craigslist when you are ready. They are always parrots in need of rehoming. We got this little girl (?) for free from someone who found her outside after her owners "decided" they didn't want her and "released" her into the wild -in October, in Pennsylvania, no less. People are so stupid and cruel sometimes.

some people are complete idiots SMH. I used to volunteer for Mending Hearts Animal Rescue and it's amazing the cruel or pathetic stories you end up hearing. People are idiots. Ok, rant over

I tried to candle a couple of times....my only white egg looked good to me....for the brown eggs, I thought I saw some shadows in the middle of some of the eggs...(thought that was good too)....and who knows about the marans eggs....as I have really good flashlights, its not a matter of enough light...its knowing good from bad....and I really don't know if the eggs were really good at all...so...I'll just wait a bit....

and, I just herd some chirps from the bater but no pips yet.....how long from chirp to pip?

I'm so looking forward to our square dance tomorrow night! And setting eggs for the hatchalong tomorrow!! xD
Had a struggle finding local and cheap silkie eggs lol Got at least a few I think ^^

Really hoping someone can pm an answer (since I usually miss posts in here lol) I'm looking for as much info about local cpt/poultry tech training stuffs, what exactly is what, what is better to do/have etc. I work at a veterinary hospital in Red Lion and think I've convinced the practice managers to go to the owner with my proposal that us few chicken crazy employees get 'certified' or such and have them pay for it! Figured it would be beneficial to the practice! People in our area are always asking about testing/avian vets/techs etc! Think it's worth a shot? Thanks in advance

What a day! The BCM pair came back. They are in the coop now, and Moron is being chased by the other rooster.
The "broody" was an egg eater. On the flip side, I collected 20 eggs from 22 girls (plus one eaten). Unless some were laid after I last collected last night, everyone laid but the EE!

I forgot the Easter Hatch a long chicken eggs get set tomorrow. I had a few eggs picked out for the "broody" and I am sooo tempted.
