For my two cents, I'd try to remove as many choices from the mix to avoid confusion....
A) whole bird...
B) parted out bird, legs, breasts, wings, thighs....
C) de-boning is an 'extra' charge, do the breasts and thighs
D) extra parts are available upon request (all or nothing)...gibblets, neck, back, feet etc...

I think the concept is tell them what you will do, not ask them what they want....

well now..there is a concept that will work. It does make things easier telling them what is already available not "what may I get for you?"

ditto, did the coffee on the patio this morning, I don't have the view Blarney has, but it was pretty nice out there....wanted to do some leaves today but the wind is blowing a but much for that....(any excuse will do)....

I don't make aprons, so far I like the bags better, but the aprons are a fund idea too. The grocery bags are THE BEST because they are so tough and can hold a heck of a lot. And they're cute too, that never hurts. It was gorgeous today, still is! It was a wonderful brisk morning for a brisk walk with the dog, only did a half hour today though. And sending healing prayers your way for surgery...

Is any one interested in this animal cage? You can have it for free, it was given to me for free with my Silkies. If no one wants it, I will put it up on CL. I would keep it, but I don't have much room. I just gave it a good scrub this morning, it needed it.

It looks like it was repainted and patched with some fiberglass. The top completey comes off and it has access from the top and front. The dimensions are approximately 45x20x20". Pick up only please. My zip is 18974 for reference. Here is my biggest girl, Mary Poopins, for size comparison (she is a black Australorp.)

I can not find oregano in oil form, where can I buy this? Would it be cost effective or should I just keep using dried oregano?

And LMP, I need a recipe for BBQ tofo, any clue, a coworker used to make this, it was crunchy on the outside and a creamy middle, cut into bite sized pieces with just a hint of BBQ flavor.

A little tip to frying tofu...make sure you try to squeeze the extra moisture out of it before you cut & cook it...makes a nice crispy crust, but still soft on the inside. I like to remove the extra moisture, cut into bite sizes pieces..then "shake-n-bake" ..with my own dry seasonings...pretty much whatever you like..can even use some pre-mix stuff....I have used "tastefully simple" dry BBQ mix, that was really good....put your seasonings in a bag, toss in your tofu pieces, then you can either bake them or fry them in a pan...toss around to brown evenly.
You can even toss with taco seasoning, bake or fry, then break-up the pieces and add to your taco shells or salad.
You can also marinate in fluid/sauces...i still remove the extra moisture BEFORE i marinade.

just finished stuffing jalapeno peppers..my finger tips are a little more sensitive than normal..hahaha, got them all wrapped up & into the freezer for company & parties...super bowl, new years, just gotta have somethin' spicy party

Hubby was so excited about the stuffed peppers he had me bake a few right away..well, there were a couple that actually got to turn RED...hahaha, he just HAD to try it...hahaha, i took pics of what happened next, BUT i am not allowed to post them!! hahahaha.....but, I can show you this...

That little RED thing..hahaha, omgosh...

....he tried to eat it..and IT won!!

pulled the last of the carrots, (stored in the cellar), and beets today...will, (hopefully), be canning up some pickled beets tomorrow!!

I have been singing the egg song around the house, and on the motorcycle. I even tried it in the way LMP suggested. So far, he hadn't caught on to what I am doing. Unfortunately, there is no room in the truck for anything. Even a chick would be cramped! I spent most of the day yesterday rearranging things. It is going to be too tight.
Today is filled with legal errands. Selling the other house, getting a copy of our marriage certificate and something else. I wasn't paying attention when dh told me.
I will be gone by about one tomorrow. Everyone please kiss your flocks for me! Unless they have mites. That would just be gross!

I still think you could hang a parrot cage somewhere in the truck! or even on the passenger side front floor, 2 small silkie hens would be OK in a cage as long as you had a fold up cage you could pull out at rest areas for a few minutes of wing stretching! you'll just have to sit 'indian style' on the seat!
