I DID IT...... DID IT!!


i have been using a tablet for the past year since both computers in the house were crap.
i have an old dell laptop (insperion 2000) i like that one but I can not get the battery to charge...
then I have one of those little mini acer, it just would not load windows anymore...well after hours of cussing yesterday, I finally got it to work...I lost everything and did a factory reset. but it is working like new..

so my post might be a little hard to read between auto correct and the fact that I actually have a keyboard..

I am done too Blarney. I fell on my hip again yesterday

Three times this month on my arthritic hip. sigh Well it seems my son is over the flu now and my hubby caught it! I have myself, (waiting on everyone hand and foot because I don't want them touching everything!!!!! ) and my older son that haven"t caught the flu yet. My older son has been staying in his room, only coming out to eat and run away again. I have been sucking down Emergen-C .

I keep watching the weather. They are talking about the biggest snow storm of the season. I don't want to see anymore!!!! I am so ready to be complaining of the heat lmao

My initial plan didn't work out either. I wanted only 6 hens, 1 silkie because they looked like they had fur boots, hats and coats on and they were so cute, and 5 easter eggers. That didn't happen. I started with 6 silver laced wyandottes. I no longer have them and I have way more than just the 6 I only wanted

Best news today. I asked both of my neighbors how they felt about my little Roo sticking around. Both were fine with it, but I did make it clear that if he gets too noisy, I will certainly rehome him. My other neighbor next door had already said "If he crows, he probably won't be loud, he's so small." Ha! He was the only chicken brave enough (or silly enough) to go walking in the 4 inches of snow.

Now if I can only train Hercules to go in the coop every night instead of putting him to bed, I would be set.

Silkies are very broody and you might have some new little chicks running around this year!
 
I thought I remembered you mentioning that you'd like to add color. Mine are mostly gray, but I have a couple black pied. Might not be what you're looking for.

I hope you don't catch it! That's terrible. I just saw updates for the storm too. Looks like a rough one. We will see...

Thanks, I only have the one Silkie roo, but I do have my broody Langshan and a Banty Cochin so you nevere know... Although right now all the big girls chase him away, but things may change when they come back into lay. ;)
