Do you mean chick days or the swaps? My tsc doesn't have a swap. There was a few of us who tried last year but we didn't get enough people. Our local TSC's still have theirs... :/ Not trying to be annoying about it, but did you call your local TSC and verify that it is cancelled?
Wow! Yeah they do have a thingy where a few 4hs go but there no poultry,I meant the swaps. The TSC swaps are big around here... not as big as the Fayette one, but pretty big, like half of the TSC parking lot is filled with cars just selling.

I'm always jealous of all your TSC swaps and other meets. I cant find like any near me.Yeah, that's strange that the TSC's don't have swaps out your way!
Question for all: Looking into either building or buying a multi-day waterer, any suggestions. We will be going to Aruba in early January for 5 days. My in-laws usually takes care of the birds while we are gone but with the weather being what it is that time of year and our massive up hill driveway, they may not be able to make it up (or back down) everyday. We have a feeder already but the watering is our only concern.
i made a waterer with a 5 gallon bucket from home depot on top of cinder blocks higher then the pipe a short garden hose to a 2ft pvc pipe with nipples in it mounted to a board with conduit clamps attached to the run.
One of my older Wellsummer chicks is missing. I wasn't planning on keeping her, but I can't think what happened to her. I will look again when I go home, but I didn't see any trace of feathers. Haven't seen any Hawks around either. And a fox would have gotten one of the fat girls first, I would think. Mmthe only good thing is that she has the other younger chicks to hang out with.Hoping she maybe snuck into a neighbors yard.![]()
