I thought about slipping one onto the chicken train...

:love

I would not have argued! **but our landlord would have, lol. We do plan to get some Nigerian dwarfs one day when we are no longer renting.

Lots of new stops on the chicken train today, small load compared to past trips though. Anyone remember the time I had a couple of full grown turkeys back there? That was a fun trip! Lol I bet I still have the picture somewhere...

Oh yes, I remember that trip! I think that was my first time meeting you. It was fun getting Adam out of the cage without letting the other turkeys out lol

Thank you @emorems0 for running the chicken train!

Yes, thank you for your delivery service!:lol:name="Blarneyeggs" url="/t/248345/pennsylvania-unite/69040#post_18367071"]
Here is the newly stained deck and painted patio. And if you look closely, you can see we had a perimeter breach and someone left a doody on the deck. It rained a bit last night and again a bit this morning, even though the forecast was originally clear. I hope the stain holds up for at least a year!

Wow! [/quote]

Thank you! I'm finally losing my stain.

So adorable! One day...

One more zipped and popped overnight. I know I will have better success with more consistent temps, and keeping the humidity up for the last few days. @msladyhawke I will have to try again if you don't mind with some more eggs, if I get any Roos. :)

The turkey looks like he's hugging the stuffed animal. :p

Also picked up my meat chicks yesterday. They gave me an extra, but they all seem to be doing very well. I think I will put all the chicks together in a couple of days. I used the heating blanket brooder method. They love it! Amazing!

Would anybody like a free goose and a duck? I don't think I can take them on since they would need friends and a diffferent habitat. Bucks County Pickup area.

I'm pretty sure I've mapped out how far away you are like 10 times hopping that one of these times it'll be shorter because I love the midget turkeys. Still 6 hours ):

That is a box of preciousness right there! How is mama handling 4 of them? Are you having to help with feedings?

Momma is handling them like a champ. We are not bottle feeding any. Lily is our herd queen and my personal favorite. She is ready to integrate them and was calling them out with the rest of the herd when we were grazing yesterday...I was having none of that. I'm sure Lily knows best, but that littlest one is oh SO little. Another day or two in confinement won't hurt them.

Your kindness is staggering...can't believe you fit full grown turkeys in with your other precious cargo. These poults here are obviously tame, they do not shy away when we pick them up. So nice of you to take care of them all weekend. Thank you.

Any of you goat lovers have an idea about how much getting an absence lanced will cost? Still having issues with my little guy and found a big lump on neck when I got home from vacation. Going in tomorrow but I'm curious. Still new to them and have no idea what to expect.

My new birds are at the Philly PO and I hope they will make it to Pottstown sometime today. Here is a pic the seller sent.

I tried to get this to rotate. It's upright on my computer, but BYC wants to put it on it's side. Anyway, look at how long the feathers on his hackle and saddle are. I wanted these for a long time. Hopefully I will have their babies for sale someday.
