Well when I went to Butler Rural king it ended up being a bust they only had guniea keets and I need to figure out my guniea situation before I add more.

So one order from Ideal later and a broody Pekin not knowing what to do with babies, I'm now the proud mom to 4 blue swedish ducks, (and cause I couldn't resist ordering) 2 EE, 2 GLW, and 3 light Brahmas. Another coop just shot up the priority list...

My chickens love their new coop. However because of the changes, they have stopped laying in their nesting boxes. I can't keep them locked up 24/7 as it gets too hot in the coop. They do go in there at night for bed, with no problem, but I'm not sure why they are not laying, or WHERE they are laying instead! :barnie

Until I get some trees around the coop for shade, and build an attached pen, I'm not sure what I can do.
