I have eight eggs going strong, due next Friday. The two broodies? Off the nest. I’m hoping that I just caught them stretching, but they seemed a bit calm for that.

The second girl was found by Duckling in the other pen. The youngest baby free ranged for the first time today, and the Easter chicks… I forgot to process the cockerel. He didn’t look so big until I saw him running around free.

I may be interested in the birds. I have to reinforce my coop and do a thorough clean out first, once I get back from baby visits. But, if anyone else is interested, don't hold them for me. My life is complicated at the moment.

I put the SPR eggs in lockdown. One quit after about a week, but the other 7 were wiggling a few days ago. I’m assuming this will be my last batch of chicks for the year.

The cemains are gone now. I dont mean to rush you at all but i need them gone within 2 weeks, which is right before I leave.
