Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

Hi im in SE PA. can you let me know when you are selling chicks or hatching eggs. I would like to try my hand with some Jersey Giants and some Chocins. Do you have any blue Cochins? I currently have SS, WPR, Americanas, Arocanas, Frizzles, Bantie's, and Silky's. Oh, and that is funny, I do remember seeing some of your Birds when we were at the Farm Show this past Sunday. They are beutifull!

Someone please help me!!! Anyone want a duck near the delaware country area? I had a boy and a girl duck and my male duck passed away over the weekend. My girl duck is so lonely and I am going to college in August so I have to find her a new home. Please respond back she is so lonely and she needs friends!!

I currently have 6 ducks. Could use another female. Do you have any way to get her to York or even close? She would have 10 1/2 acres here to roam...

There is the most beautiful house/home with a duck pond and 1 goose on Creek Road in Glen Mills, PA., between Locksly Rd and Grist Mill Rd.
They may gladly welcome your female.I'm sure the goose is there for protection from predators and he does a fine job. he's very friendly just bring bread & corn if you go.

I was a little disappointed that there were not many ducks or geese. Most breeds were represented, but it seemed like they were almost all owned by the same person. Does anybody know of a local (east coast) show that focuses more on poultry (specifically ducks and geese)?

hey Brenda! I live in Chester County too! I drive to Delaware County Often to take care of my Mom, so I probably pass close by that property you described.

Loved the PA Farm show food! What the heck do they put in those baked potatoes anyway? And why do they not taste as good at home? The cheese cubes and milkshakes I get, but baked potatoes.... who knew?

Galgo: I was in Massachusettes last weekend for the Northeastern Poultry Congress, I think that would have been the ticket for you. I think I read about a Poultry Conference at the University of Maryland coming up this February 4th. Not sure if they'll cover ducks n geese, or if that's further than you were thinking of going...OR if they even have anything more than classes, but it's worth a google

Hey will anyone within an hours drive of Carlisle have SLW or GLW chicks in early to mid-March?

I think that will finalize my flock.....unless anyone knows something I "must have" LOL

Thanks! I will look into those. I also found the York County Poultry Fanciers show last year in York, PA in April... I'm looking into info for 2012, not finding any...
