DH just came in with a surprise.
YIPPEE! They are starting! FBCM and olive eggers. obviously the FBCM needs some work on her sprayer,but that khaki is nice! taken without a flash next to a storebought white egg.

I never did till I went to the Franklin House in Schaefferstown. They make a killer mashed sweet potato with smoked gouda! Orgasmic!

no I really am phsyco with cleaning the coop! and I had sooooo made mistakes when locating my chickens at my other house, MUD MUD bad bad.... gross for the chickens and makes them look it as well, so this time I picked a high spot for them in the woods under the trees!! Love that Natural Peat!!!

I GOT ANOTHER ONE!! in ONE DAY???? DOUBLE YOLKER!!! I put it in the cool garage, it will be ok till she gets other eggs next week right?????

My Jersey Giant keeps laying double yolkers.... wonder if we could hatch twins and what would come out of a Silver Laced Wyandotte with the jersey giant hen??????????????????? hmmmmmmm eggs are fertile too! May have Harmony add the next one to her bator!! That would be interesting!!
