CPT. It's a session on backyard poultry keeping by two of the state's top poultry people. As well as the class part of the Certified Poultry Tech course. CPT teaches you about poultry diseases, bio-security and than testing of the animals. Dr. Gregory martin from PSU and Dr. Nan Hanshaw from PA Dept. of Ag will both be there for questions and Dr. Hanshaw will be running the CPT training. So the top chicken man in PA and the queen of the State disease regulation end of things both together for us! Coming together to educate and answer questions for us, the backyard poultry owners and enthusiasts.

what time does this start..Dec.5th @ ?..

Dec. 3rd @ Lancaster Farm and Home Center on 72 across from Park City Mall. And March 7th at Harrisburg in the PA Dept of Ag building across from the Farm Show Complex. The session starts with Dr. Martin @ 9AM than the CPT class starts after roughly 10/10:30

Chad, I too am on board for the Spring one. Fiancee can't take any time right now as he's in the final stages of a transition at work....so no time off till January.

Beaglady, I was sure you told me they were Scovies...but they don't have that crap on their faces like my adult one. Also...do they only lay a few eggs? I got 10 out of her, then she stopped, then started again, and I only got 5 the second time! And now...none for over 2 months!
PS Where do you get your processing done?

Blarney....where do you get your processing done?
