I went to this, and my silkies went like hotcakes! I also hear there is a livestock auction only a few miles from me (Meadville) - I will try to find out more info. I think it is every Wednesday. Another option now that it is closer to this time of year is frequenting the area fairs (the Crawford County fair is only minutes from my house, and I know they put up birds for sale seconds after judging). I'm also "so flipping happy that someone is alive and well into chickens in Western PA

Balefire, you are right down the road from the Renninger's small livestock auction next to Blue Mt High School on a Saturday night. It's supposed to be around 5 or so. Why don't you go and report back? I 've never been there!

I bought a trio of awesome LF Light Brown Leghorns at GD last Friday. Well worth the trip.
