Does Penny enjoy human company as much as chicken company?

I think Penny thinks the humans are her flock- she has a little bit of an only child syndrome with her "real" flock. She gets very vocal with them which is humorous lol. I am convinced that she also likes dad better than mom. He has a more laid back approach with her. I have a helicopter mom approach lol.

Sounds about right for an only child lol Penny has a very special relationship with both of you. It is so wonderful to get a glimpse of it. What a sweet sweet hen she is! Does her “real” flock treat her well even though she spends time outside of them?

Its mixed- Her "real" flock is comprised of many characters. The flock leader - A six year old Partridge Rock hen named Olivia Jade gets along with her famously. Luna Lovegood her 3 year old lavender orpington "sister" is also very kind. The remaining 6 however can't be trusted lol. Supervised visits go well. Here is a video of her hanging with the whole flock without issue- while Lane Bryant preens
