if you read my post, the rooster was never in any harm. he was not mine, somebody dumped him on me, and he was tearing up my hens. when i brought him to town he stayed in my yard, crowing all day. some neighbor kids came and caught him and he has a home on a farm.. yes i brought him to town because there were 2 roosters dumped on me. 2 roos, 8 hens....go figure. i have clarified i don't know how many times this darn rooster got a home!! so hang me!! that is off this subject and if you don't have anything to post referring to my topic then cluck off!

Well thats good that the roo got a home after you just dropped him off in town to fend for himself.

As for me.. If i have an extra roo that i didnt want..i'd cull him.. not just bring him to town and drop him off so he can suffer and starve and be attacked by predators.
But thats just me.

i did not just dump the rooster off in town, i brought him to my backyard. i live in a small town..he was rehomed. that post was posted in the ordinance section of the forum. any more want to comment on this go to that post. this is a different post please.

No, RedHen, not everyone needs to be stoned to get along.

They appear to be just nice people who get along. They remind me a lot of my community of friends and fellow churchmembers up in Minnesota.
