Is she a little game gird with a toppie?

From what I was told she was a little silkie/polish mix. The man had a ton of different bantams freeranging with tons of roos but it seems close enough!

Hello everyone!

It's been a ruff few days here. We got a severe ice storm Saturday night through Sunday morning, and we haven't had electricity in three days. We still won't have it for another 1-3 days yet.

I have some access to the internet for a few minutes, but I won't be able to come on again until the electricity is back. Let's just say, this was the craziest storm EVER! Our entire city (not very big, but still) lost power. The only place that was open was Family Fare, and people were going crazy. They cleared the store out of batteries, water, and canned foods. Thankfully our landlord gave us a generator for the night so we can at least have heat and water, but otherwise it has been a very dark three days. I have lots of pictures to share later. The trees are all sagging under the weight of the ice and snow, and all morning on Sunday you could here branches cracking off. It sounded like gunfire. Despite the fact that most of the branches on our trees are either broken or sagging so low that they are touching the ground, all of the ice in the sunlight is just stunning.

Sunni is doing great, but she's not very happy about having to go to bed at 5:00pm when it gets dark because we don't have anything to give us light except candles. She is used to going to bed at 9:00pm. I keep telling her that all of this extra sleep is great for her recovery, but she just gives me the evil chicken glare when I put her up on her roost.

She is back to eating and drinking like normal, and other than the scuffs and scabs she has from the dog, she seems completely normal.

Hi Chickenmomma!
Glad your back to the land pf the living, and internet....Even more so that Ms. Sunni is doing super. She is a trooper. I had to bring Hope back into the house (oh darn.) to give a bath and dry off. Sje keeps getting pooped on out in the coop. I tell her to move bt she is a poo magnet. Yeah the weather has been just crazy in the midwest. My parents are in Arkansas, Phantom is in Texas,your in Michigan, several of us are from California and Washington and MaddiesMum is in Nova Scotia. I'll be honest I don't really know where that is. But my point is a lot of our members are in the path of some serious ice storms this week. I will hve to keep an eye on the news and keep everyone in my prayers....glad you both are safe. Take care

Merry Christmas everyone!

Still no power... They are saying we probably won't have it restored until Saturday night or Sunday morning. All of our Christmas plans were either canceled or post-poned. I had planned to make some special treats for my chickens, but it looks like it'll have to wait until Monday or Tuesday. Thankfully our landlord was kind enough to let us use one of his generators, so we at least have heat and running water.
