I have an OEGB that lives in the house. She plays with the dogs, always charging them then running away! She even went after my vaccum!

She is spoiled and will NOT wear her diaper, she flops around on the floor until she gets it off. She will also fuss and fuss at night until we wrap her in her pink blanket and put her in her basket!
She was hatched under a hen, but I went out there when she was only a few hours old and found her face down in the dirt. I thought she was dead, but when I picked her up she moved. Soooo I popped her in the incubator and here she stayed!
Her name is princess!

I don't know about anybody else, but my Dominique Dana is still in-house recuperating from Bumblefoot. We took her for a vet followup and she's still not cleared. We have her on Clindomycin for another week because bumblefoot is a staph infection and rarely does surgery alone work. She's still showing swelling on one foot pad although the crust is gone but Dr. doesn't want to give the ok until he sees no swelling whatsoever.

Beep had a terrifying crop illness a couple weeks ago. He was very poorly for a few days, but the vet was able to get him through it thank god. Everyone else is great.

Hurray for Beep! Having a great vet that will see chickens is worth his/her weight in gold!!! Our Dominique hen "Dana" was finally given the all-clear for bumblefoot by her great vet!

Have no idea why but chickens love the computer keyboard -- maybe because it gets your attention? Or in the case of chicks, maybe they like how warm it gets? I had to tape a plastic film cover over the laptop keyboard because that's where the little fuzz-butts liked to be.
