Perfect Angel Food Cake

Do you have a bundt pan? that could work or even place batter in a aluminum handleless pan with foil as a "hole" for the middle.
This sounds great but I've never been able to whip egg whites in plastic, only a glass bowl.
But I do want to try this recipe! Yum.

I whipped mine in one of those cheapie plastic bowls I got from Walmart and it worked great.

No kidding! Wow, my mother would flip if I could...have to try that.
Of course when mentioning plastic bowls, it was tupperware way back when! We still have some of it floating around....hmmm, now you got me tah thinkin, that angel food cake is a bit nearer in our future now! Thanx!

(I made 2 cups of cake flour by sifting 1/4 cup corn starch with
1 3/4 cups of all purpose flour)

I'll give it a try. I've passed up a lot of recipes because I only keep all purpose and wheat in stock here. I'll give 'er a go. Angel food cake is my favorite!

I'll have to try that too. I just used all purpose unbleached and it came out fine.

My cakes turn out like bricks when I use the all purpose. Maybe it has to do with the high altitude though? Or maybe it's me!
