Permethrin 10%

Birds
  • ~20 ml per (4 teaspoons) gallon, or ~1 teaspoon per quart.

Coop
  • Severe infestation use 6.7 ounces (13.5 tablespoons or 200 ml) per gallon.
  • Normal infestation use 1.33 ounces (8 teaspoons) per gallon.
Edited to fix dose typos.

I just used 6 oz per 1 gallon to do the coop. Hope that was right;seemed a bit strong to me. I don't think there was a severe infestation, but I know they have scaly leg mites, and maybe dust mites, so I sprayed the roosts too. Hope it doesn't hurt their feet! I used poultry dust too on the floor .

Think it'll work?

By the way, casportpony, you always have such good advice. Do you have a member page?

The strong dose is what I use for flies around the coop, and I guess that's what I might ue for mites too.
