I'm just wondering if any of you have noticed personalities early on in your chicks that they've continued to have into their adulthood? My week-old chicks seem to have very definitive personalities at this early stage. My blue orpington wants nothing to do with me. My white leghorn LOVES to be held. My black copper marans is curious about everything. And my cream legbar just seems laid-back. It'll be interesting to see how their personalities- temperaments develop over the next few months. Starting a new flock is always so interesting and FUN!!!

Absolutely! I used to have an Easter Egger named Bumble (the pullet in my profile pic) and she was so sweet as a chick, and was one of my sweetest birds!
I have a white leghorn named Annika who was an energetic, social chick, and she is the same now.
My rooster, Lemon (also an EE) was a very curious but skittish chick, and has grown into a curious-about-everything adult, but is skittish about people.

Good luck with your new flock! :jumpy
