Do pet quails stink?

I am looking to get 2 pet coturnix quails. Do they stink? And if so how to stop it? Also, how often to clean cage?

They are not an interactive pet usually; more a pet to look at and watch.

Yes, they do kind of smell. You can do a number of things to combat this, but mostly - adequate space per bird and cleaning the cage daily.

You shouldn't keep just 2 coturnix, they're flock birds. You need at least 5. If you want a bird you can have only 2 of, get button quail.
