I Couldn’t agree more, and I think that is a lovely statement. You sound like a true Gentleman

It is more HGV vehicles, that piddle me off, the amount of tyres that are left at the side of our motorway’s is shocking, you can see the string, so they are badly worn down. They are nightmare drivers, also drivers that undercut and speed, they mostly belong to businesses and think they own the road. I have an 8 hour round trip I do, twice on a weekend, and these breakdowns can put another 3-4 hours on my journey

We have smart motorways (no hard shoulder or anywhere to stop if you do break down) on the M5 and M6, it’s ridiculous. I can honestly say I have not seen a family with kids etc broken down, it always seems to be commercial vehicles. Who should by our laws, keep their vehicles road worthy. I do feel sorry for the every day Joe (esp in the rain

) who I see has broken down…but again, it is probably these HGV’s, Van drivers (who have caused the long tailbacks)….so their engines have probably overheated!! It sounds terrible, but I have no sympathy for ppl who can’t afford to keep their cars road worthy…get a push bike…cars kill. Anyway, I must get a move on…I have that lovely journey today
